Hexagonal mesh—also known as twisted-wire mesh or soft-edge mesh—is a wire product featuring a hexagonal mesh pattern woven from metal wire. It is manufactured using materials such as low-carbon steel wire or stainless steel wire through processes involving straight twisting, reverse twisting, or double twisting. The edges can be designed with single or double configurations, and the surface is treated with galvanizing or PVC coating to enhance corrosion resistance. Characterized by resistance to deformation and high flexibility, the product is widely used in structural reinforcement, landscaping protection, and hydraulic engineering. It can also be fabricated into gabion baskets, which are among the most commonly used metal wire products for flood control.
Weaving type avaliable include: Straight twist, reverse twist, double-direction twist.
Materials: Low carbon steel wire, stainless steel wire or brass wire.
Processing: Twisted before galvanized, weaving after galvanized. Electro galvanized, hot dipped, plastic-coated, stainless steel, PVC coated, etc.
